Auto Show 2011

We did something on Friday that I rather enjoyed... Maggie and Grant went to the Auto Show with Cory and his dad and brothers, while Zoey and I kicked it by ourselves at home!    

It was a good time had by all!

October 2011

 Halloweentime at Disneyland made it on the list this year and so we headed to pay a visit to the Mouse all decked out in his Halloween suit on a day that the kids were out of school.  So fun to spend a day together as a family!  

 Dinner club was so fun this month!  Suzy and Dana asked us to come dressed up and served us a dinner titled "Halloween in Kabul".  All the food was middle eastern and so delicious! 

 Thanks to this little fun party, I actually got to dress up this year!  I haven't dressed up in years, at least since I expend all my October energy in what the kids will wear for Halloween.

 My friend Heidi helped me dress up as a witch and did a fabulous job on my makeup. 

 Then there was the Elders Quorum Halloween party... can you tell what we are?  Cory's gonna die when he sees that I posted this picture... sorta, kinda had to twist his arm to dress up as Salt and Pepper shakers with me.  I know, I'm such a dork!

 But hopefully this picture makes up for it... Cory helped with the decorations and I thought that they were soooo cool!  

 On Halloween, Grant got to wear his costume to school and Maggie's class was part of a Halloween performance.  She got to wear this glow-in-the-dark shirt and recite the poem "Looking for Dracula".

I decided to make Zoey a ballerina this year cause she wishes she could be in Maggie's ballet class with her.  I love these years where I get to decide what to dress them up as... cause I know these years are numbered short and then I'll have almost no say at all soon!  

Grant has moved on from being a pirate the last 2 years and tried something new this year from Star Wars.  

Maggie's costume was so much fun!  Love the red sparkly shoes and Toto in the basket.  Her dress is even true to the style that Judy Garland wore in the movie!

GIVE ME SOME CANDY!!

Trick or treating was so much fun this year!  After EVERY SINGLE HOUSE, Zoey asked, "Where are we going now?"  We all had a blast!
