My good friend Heidi delivered twin baby girls in May at 26 weeks old! They were sooo tiny! She has 3 little boys already, so we were happy to celebrate her girls and cross our fingers that they grow into strong, healthy babies in the NICU.
Our yummy lunch: sandwiches from Corner Bakery, kettle chips, salad and fruit. I made the pendant banner so she could take them home and hang it in their nursery when they come home.
Rachael made the yummy desserts: a ribbon cake, cupcakes, sugar cookies and eclairs.
I wish I had some pictures of the babies, but this is the only one I got on camera.
One fun thing we did (thanks to Pinterest) was a headband making bar. Everyone at the shower could sit down and make a headband for the girls. It was a hit! Fun for everyone and Heidi came away with about 30+ headbands.
I made this headband storage container for Heidi (thanks again to Pinterest). It's made out of an Quaker Oatmeal box! My sister made one last year and I've been wanting to make one ever since... too bad it wasn't for me!!
Heidi opening all her presents to discover all the cute outfits her girls will fit into someday!
I'm bummed I didn't get a picture of Heidi and I together. But here she is... mother of 5! So happy she finally got her girls cause she's the girliest girl I know!
