My mother-in-law asked us for suggestions for a fun way to celebrate my father-in-law's 60th birthday. I suggested we go to Big Bear! Cory's parents rented a nice lake front property and we had a great time in the great outdoors.
The home was beautiful and the setting was peaceful!
The view from our bedroom balcony. The property included a nice dock, which was pretty much occupied by at least one fisher in the family at all times. Even at night. Too bad the lake didn't seemed very stocked with fish.
I love this picture. We were the first ones to arrive and had the place to ourselves for a couple of hours so Cory got a head start on the fishing with the kids.
