Soccer time!

Fall time around here means soccer time for us.  Maggie LOVES soccer and so here we go with season 3 of soccer.  Plus, as an added bonus, we encouraged Grant to give it a try this year.  We figured baseball might not be his sport... let's give soccer a try!

I signed Cory up to make the banners this year.  This is for Maggie's team.

Here is Grant's team banner...

Grant seemed to enjoy soccer this year, at least more than baseball.

Playing defense.

Being silly.

Hang on, Zoey!  You're turn is coming soon!

Oh boy! Zoey has JOY!

I am sooo lucky I was able to find a awesome group of moms willing to do Joy School this year.  Zoey makes 3 for 3 and I'm so grateful for this opportunity one last time!  It's such a wonderful way to spend time with my kids before they are wisked off to school forever!

Zoey's school this year is a sweet group of girls: Isla, Pepper and Ruby.

Zoey is the youngest, a full year younger than Ruby, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity.  I know it will be a fun-filled year of Joy School activities!

Celebrating another birthday... American Girl style!

While Lauren was in town, Grandma Deb thought it would be fun to celebrate Lauren's September birthday at the American Girl store.  What a fun grandma!

Lauren's birthday isn't for a few weeks but in our family, we think it's okay to celebrate your birthday anytime during your birthday month!

Lauren and Maggie so excited to be at the American Girl Place.

Maggie... you're a very lucky girl to be celebrating again at the American Girl Place!

and you too, Julie!

Grandma Deb said Zoey could come too!  Wow, Zoey!  What a treat for you!

Zoey loved the creative fruit platter.

Happy Birthday Lauren!

Wait till you taste that cake!

We are so glad you came into town, Lauren!

Maggie's baptism

Maggie chose to be baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

She was baptized by her dad.

My friend Alexis braided her hair for the occasion.

She borrowed a pretty white dress from a talented seamstress in our ward.

One of the highlights of the weekend was the surprise arrival of cousin Lauren from Utah.

Maggie LOVES Lauren so much!

We're so grateful that Grandma Deb was able to come, too!

Maggie with Grandpa Dave and Grandma Robin.

We were lucky that the only other person being baptized that day was Maggie's friend Jasmine.

Maggie and Jasmine and friends from school who came to support them.

My friend Rachael and I made these cute CTR sugar cookies to hand out after the baptism.  They were a hit!
