Cory took Grant to Comic Con last week down in San Diego. What a great day for both of them! Grant was on a mission... he told Cory the three things he wanted to see was, "Star Wars, Monsters and 'Pew-Pew's'". I was so happy that Cory took Grant to Comic Con with him because after hearing all about their day, Comic Con must be a little boys dream come true!
They went on Star Wars day, so there were plenty of Stormtroopers around!
Grant was excited to see this on display. It's a Mighty Mugg and Cory made it as part of a fundraiser for Make A Wish Foundation and George Lucas. It was submitted on behalf of his friend, director Kyle Newman and his wife, actress Jaime King. We thought it was so cool that it was on display at Comic Con. Grant said, "Dad! Dad! You got one of these!" Little did he know that this was the one Cory made!
Here's Grant with Jamie King.
Plenty of people dress up at Comic Con. Grant asked all day to see Batman but when the moment finally arrived, he shied away.
Luckily, Cory was able to pass his trip off down to Comic Con as work related since he had to build a "Comic Con type" set for his show. Here's is Grant on Cory's set.
Lately, Grant has been obsessed with Transformers. Not that you can tell by this picture, but Cory said he was a little star struck when he saw the Transformer display.
Not sure who these people are dressed up as, but everyone seemed more than happy to pose for the camera.
Cory was more than pleased to see these guys dressed up as the characters from his favorite game on XBOX: Team Fortress II.
And Grant came home with a cool souvenir: an inflatable sword!

What a FUN day for Grant! I love his expressions in all of the pictures. I sure looks like he had a blast, and I bet it was fun for Cory to do that with Grant too!
A little boys dream, for sure!
What a fun day for a father and son. Grant is soon going to realize his dad is the coolest being able to make all this stuff and then see them in the movies! His dad will be the envy of all the 1st grade boys!
What a treat! Kudos to Cory for making his litle boy's day. Love to all, Mom
Oh my gosh. This is hilarious! It IS a little boys dream. I just read your post on your trip (I've been so bad about reading blogs lately). It was so great to see you. Next time you come we'll all have to go to This Is The Place on NOT Family Fun Day ;). Stupid families.
