During my week of Joy School, the kids made these adorable bird feeders by recycling water bottles.
We hung ours up in a nearby tree and within 2 weeks, the birds finally discovered it was there. We enjoyed watching the birds eat from Grant's birdfeeder...
Until the damn backyard squirrel noticed it was hanging there! This ballsy squirrel is hanging by his freakin' toes to get to the birdfeeder! I couldn't believe it! By the next day, it was completely gone off the tree. No point in hanging it back up, he'll just figure it out again!

Hahahaa...that is hilarious. Squirrels are crazy out here, too. They are fearless and I have this fear they are going to attack me or the kids for a snack one day.
Nicki, Remember how mean the cardinals and blue jays were in Birmingham? I used to watch them fight over the feeder out the kitchen window. The squirrels were pretty smart too. Remember they ate all the nuts off our Christmas wreath?
These feeders are a cute idea. Mom
Bummer. Wish there was a way to get the feeder out the squirrel's reach. But somehow, they always do!
